The Western District of Texas covers an area over 91,000 square miles and comprises seven divisions. It is an honor to serve the judges, the bar of this Court, and the members of the public in this great district. The Clerk of Court is charged with maintaining court records, providing case information, explaining and publicizing court procedures, providing courtroom and case management support, and administratively supporting the Court.

This seminar satisfies the course requirement for admission to the Western District of Texas. The course presents the nuts and bolts of federal-court practice, with a focus on practicing in the Western District of Texas. Sponsored by the Austin Chapter of the FBA and the Austin Bar Association. Featured speakers: federal judges, experienced civil practitioners, criminal prosecutors, and federal public defenders.
