Notice to Jurors:

The Federal Courts do not require anyone to provide any sensitive information in a telephone call. Most of our correspondence with you will be through the U.S. Mail. If there is any phone contact, none of our staff will be requesting social security numbers, credit card numbers, or any other sensitive information.

Persons receiving such a telephone call should not provide the requested information, and should notify the U.S. District Clerk's Office in their area.

Announcement of Office Closures

Orders have been issued regarding offices that will be closed at various times. The closures affect the U.S. District Court, U.S. Magistrate Court, U.S. District Clerk's Office, U.S. Probation Office and U.S. Pretrial Services Office.

The closures announced are as follows:

By Order dated April 3, 2014, the Austin Division will be closed beginning at 12:00 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2014.

By Order dated April 14, 2014, the Del Rio Division will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2014.

By Order dated April 7, 2014, the El Paso Division will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2014.

By Order dated April 3, 2014, the Midland-Odessa and Pecos Divisions, and the Alpine Office, will be closed Friday, April 18, 2014.

By Order dated April 4, 2014, the Waco Division will be closed on Friday, April 18, 2014.

By Order dated April 7, 2014, the San Antonio Division will be closed on Friday, April 25, 2014.

Attorney Renewal Fees have been suspended.

The Attorney Renewal Fee requirement has been suspended until further notice.  There is no requirement, at this time, to send in the renewal fee to the U.S. District Clerk's Office.
