How do I obtain a certificate of good standing?

You can submit a request stating the name of the attorney, the state bar number, and the date of admission to the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. The fee for a certificate of good standing is $18.00. Please mail your request and the $18.00 fee to the Division office closest to you. You can get the mailing addresses for any U.S. District Clerk's Office through our website menu. Just click on "Contact Us" and select the Division office you want to mail the request to. For local attorneys who plan to pick up their certificate, please call your local clerk's office in advance.
