Jury Scams Target Even Unlikely Victims

​The U.S. Marshals are alerting the public of several nationwide imposter scams involving individuals claiming to be U.S. marshals, court officers, or other law enforcement officials. Anyone who suspects a jury scam should not provide the requested information, hang up the phone, and immediately notify the Clerk of Court’s Office of the U.S. District Court in their area, as well as local law enforcement and the Federal Trade Commission.
