The Attorney Renewal Fee requirement has been suspended until further notice. There is no requirement, at this time, to send in the renewal fee to the U.S. District Clerk’s Office.

Chief Judge Orlando L. Garcia has signed the Special Order Concerning Admission of Attorneys which extends the period of time for which the 2019 Federal Court Practice course may be used when applicants are applying to the bar of this court. The entire course must be completed no later than May 31, 2021 in order to fulfill the educational requirements for admission set forth in W.D. Tex. L.R. AT-1(b)(2). Please review the order for additional details.
Due to inclement weather, U.S. District Judge David Counts has signed a General Order which closes the Midland, Pecos and Alpine offices of the U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Magistrate Courts, U.S. District Clerk’s Office, U.S. Probation Office and the U.S. Pretrial Services Office on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.
