Midland-Odessa and Pecos Divisions Closure Due to Inclement Weather

Due to inclement weather and the National Weather Service’s advisory for snow and ice accumulations and for employee safety, the United States District Courts, the United States Magistrate Courts, United States District Clerk’s Office, United States Probation Office, United States Pretrial Services Office, and the Executive Office of the U.S. District Clerk in the Midland-Odessa and Pecos divisions shall be closed Tuesday, December 30, 2025 until 10:00 a.m. Order can be referenced here. Jury Phone Scams

​We have had recent reports that potential jurors are receiving scam phone calls regarding jury duty.  The U.S. Marshals and the FBI are alerting the public of several nationwide imposter scams involving individuals claiming to be U.S. marshals, court officers, or other law enforcement officials. During these calls, scammers attempt to collect a fine in lieu of arrest due to a claim of identity theft, failing to report for jury duty, or other offenses. Power Act Virtual Event on Tuesday, June 24th at 12:00pm CST
