Public Notice for Appointment of United States Magistrate Judge, Waco, Texas

With the authorization of the United States Judicial Conference, the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas is accepting applications for the appointment of one position as full-time United States Magistrate Judge in Waco, Texas. Multifactor Authentication Coming Soon

On May 11th, the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO) will begin implementing multifactor authentication (MFA) to enhance system security for CM/ECF and PACER.  If you experience any issues or have additional questions, please contact the PACER Service Center at pacer@psc.uscourts.gov or (800)676-6856.  The PACER Service Center hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm CST.  A link to the bulletin came be found here: Multifactor Authentication Coming Soon.

Power Act Virtual Event on Tuesday, June 24th at 1:00pm

Power Act 2025 Virtual Event will be held on Tuesday, June 24th at 1:00pm.  This event promotes pro bono legal services as a critical way to empower survivors of domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault, engage citizens, and help lift victims out of the cycle of violence.  Western District of Texas participants will receive 1.25 hours of credit of which 1.0 is an ethics credit.  Please click on the link for the flyer for more details and to sign up.

Beginning March 15th – Register for eVoucher EFT Payments

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Vendor Manager System (VMS) designed to easily and securely collect tax and banking information to facilitate electronic funds transfers (EFT) for voucher payments approved through Criminal Justice Act (CJA) eVoucher. Panel attorneys, expert service providers, and court reporters will be required to register in VMS after signing in to CJA eVoucher with Login.gov.
